"From the moment that we met to discuss the plans, I felt totally at ease, and I knew we were in safe hands. I'm sure in some ways it couldn't have been easy for you and I imagine it certainly wasn't a normal service (if such a thing exists.)
It needed someone who could deliver my mother's story with dignity, compassion and feeling and you certainly did this beautifully.

I'd like to say a huge thank you for all your help, advice and expertise. It sounds strange to say this but I'll always remember my mother's funeral with a huge amount of joy and laughter. That is exactly what she wanted and I can't help but feel hugely proud as we celebrated her life in style."

Mrs. Chalmers, (funeral conducted for Shepherds Funeral Directors)

..."You had perfectly captured the essence of our mother and we all felt comforted by the service. It was exactly what we had hoped for. Thankyou".

Mrs. Crouch (funeral conducted for Co-operative Funeralcare)

..."thankyou for the warm, personal and proficient manner with which you conducted our wonderful and memorable celebration of my husband's life.

I fully appreciate, as a former English teacher, just how difficult it is to draw the essential threads from a mass of meandering thoughts in order to summarise a person's life. When these threads have to be elicited from a grieving partner in a conversation, perhaps with more details on the telephone, it requires a very special person to encourage the vital information and precious memories.

I shall always remember your kindness to me when we met - my rambling reminiscences must have been a challenge to you. You certainly rose to it!

It was a lovely service and despite my deep emotion, I was able to enjoy it."

Mr. Johnson (funeral conducted for J.Fielder Funeral Director)

"You captured (his) spirit so well - his humour, his courage, his love of life and the gentleman he always was, even at the very end when life was so hard for him.

Everyone present was really impressed by the uplifting atmosphere you gave to the whole event, even though you never met him, no-one would have guessed, many people thought you were a family friend."
